(28 febbraio 2018) An artistic workshop with Giancarlo Busato, who belongs to the third generation of a family of typographers from Vicenza, will take place on Saturday, March 10th from 14:00 to 17:00 in the foyer of the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague. “You will learn the principles of drypoint – an engraving cable printing technique from the professional who will print your work. At the end of the workshop you will receive both the printing plate and the original print as a souvenir” according to the IIC. The Stamperia d’Arte Busato was founded by Ottorino Busato in October 1946, when he decided to start his own business in Lithography and Calcography, after experience gained working in the most important printing houses in the Veneto region since 1924. In the mid-sixties, the Stamperia began its most fruitful season. Today with Giancarlo this shop has reached its 3rd generation of printers. (red)
