Moscow. The photography exhibition by the Italian photographer, Johnny Moncada “Zero Gravity” will be inaugurated today at Manezh in Moscow. The exhibition, organised by Fotobiennale 2018 in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture, will remain open until May 27th. The exhibition was granted by the Johnny Moncada Archive. Johnny Moncada (Giovanni Luigi Moncada di Patierno) was born in Rome in 1928. He started his career with photography for advertisting but then took a turn meeting with Joan Wehaln in 1954, a model for the Hubert de Givenchy fashion house. They became inseparable and got married in 1956. Moncada’s photo shoots represent a crucial phase in the history of Italian costumes and fashion, documenting the history of the ‘Made in Italy’.
