The latest novel by the Italian writer “Lo spregio” (Marsilio 2016) will be presented. In “Lo spregio” – winner of the Comisso and Mondello awards – Zaccuri pushes his reflection on fatherhood to its extreme consequences, which is presented here as an opportunity for good and redemption in an environment otherwise compromised by evil. Alessandro Zaccuri is a cultural correspondent for the newspaper “Avvenire” and is the author of numerous novels (including “Il Signor figlio”, Selezione Campiello 2007 Award) and essays, the most recent of which is “Come non letto. 10 classici + 1 che possono ancora cambiare il mondo (10 classics + 1 that can still change the world) published by Ponte alle Grazie in 2017.
