(23 luglio 2018) Intesa Sanpaolo supports the exhibition inaugurated yesterday at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow “From Tiepolo to Canaletto and Guardi” and open to the public starting today until October 14th. The exhibition showcases the great eighteenth-century Venetian Masters including nine masterpieces from the Intesa Sanpaolo collection, normally kept at the Gallerie d’Italia – Palazzo Leoni Montanari, the Vicenza headquarters of the Group’s museum complex, whose loan is part of their support to the exhibition. Sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Moscow, the exhibition also features works from the Civic Museum of Palazzo Chiericati in Vicenza and from the Puškin State Museum of the Figurative Arts in Moscow. “The development of the collaboration with the Puškin Museum further enriches the history of Intesa Sanpaolo’s presence in the Russian Federation, intertwining economy and art, business and culture. I am convinced that the synergies that arise from it are a precious opportunity to share the cultural heritage and masterpieces of the two countries, bringing them closer together. Today we make the masterpieces of our Gallerie d’Italia in Vicenza available in Moscow, hoping to encourage visitors in a future trip to Italy to visit our three museums in Milan, Naples, and Vicenza where part of our collection of works of art is exhibited in completely redeveloped historic buildings once used for banking functions” commented Antonio Fallico, President of Banca Intesa Russia.
