Bangkok. In the framework of the Italian Festival in Thailand 2018, the Italian Embassy in Bangkok presents – on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the bilateral relations between Italy and Thailand – the Fabrizio Sotti Trio the concert on Tuesday 31st July at 19:00 at Bangkok University. Sotti’s career is characterised by a fascinating dichotomy between work with some of the best current jazz musicians (he has produced two albums for Grammy Award-winning singer Cassandra Wilson), and writing and production for hip-hop superstars and pop artists. As for jazz, with his latest Trio together with two great New York musicians (Peter Slavov, Clarence Penn), Sotti draws an extremely dynamic sonic picture that makes him not only an extraordinary and innovative improviser, but the messenger of a unique and distinctive sound.
