The focus on China organized
by Anica is back in Focus

For the third consecutive year Focus On China returns to the Venice Film Festival, with a rich programme (30 August – 1 September) to deepen opportunities for cooperation between Italy and China in the film industry. Organised by ANICA for DG Cinema with the Venice Biennale, the event was announced at the press conference at the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing, in the presence of Ambassador Ettore Sequi, Roberto Stabile, ANICA Head of International Relations and of China Project, the Audiovisual Desk at ICE-Agency coordinator. Chinese partners also present are: President of the China Film Co-production Corporation, Miao Xiaotian; General Manager of Xinhuanet Europe, Pan Zhi; President of Hunan Mangguo Media, Yao Wei; Director of Movie View, San Mu. The programme for the next edition includes the usual Sino-Italian Co-production Forum. In past editions, it has seen the participation of important and influential personalities from the Italian and Chinese film world, and numerous other events.
