Barcelona. The Second Edition of My StartBcn Competition, organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce – Barcelona, in collaboration with I3P, is back with a programme aimed at the promotion and international growth of Italian start-ups wishing to expand their market in Spain. My StartBcn is aimed at all the founding members of innovative start-ups of Italian citizenship and foresees two different phases of evaluation. In a first phase, circumscribed to Italy, the whole procedure will be coordinated by the Italy-Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with I3P – Turin Polytechnic. I3P – Politecnico di Torino and the CCIE of Barcelona will select 5 finalist start-ups based on pre-established evaluation criteria. The 5 start-ups selected for phase 2 (Spain) will have the opportunity to present their project to a jury of territorial innovation managers, mentors and venture capitalists, who will declare a single start-up the victor. The winner will receive a free co-working space for 6 months, administrative and legal support, mentoring aimed at accelerating the project, networking and contacts with the venture capitalist ecosystem, participation in the 4YFN event to be held from the 25th to 27th of February, 2019 in Barcelona as well as membership to the Italy-Barcelona Chamber of Commerce for one year.
