Stary Sacz. The RAI production “Mystery After Mystery”, the first animated series on the mysteries of the Shroud, received the Silver Lily Award at the recent “International Festival of Cinema and Religious Programs for MUNDI Children”, which took place under the patronage of the Pontifical Council for Culture in Stary Sacz (Poland). With a language accessible to all, but with historical rigour and scientific scruple, “Mystery after Mystery” uncovers, in 26 episodes of 2 minutes each, many details of the famous cloth preserved in Turin from the mid-sixteenth century, also highlighting the doubts that science has raised, the curiosities and questions the whole world has posed over the centuries and continues to ask. Cut out on backgrounds that allude to the yellowed fabric of the sacred Shroud are the silhouettes of investigators, policemen, nuns, crusaders, and Saracens, and a friendly family who just do not want to miss the ostentation of Turin.
