Rijeka. BEAT partner Universities hold lessons in Croatia on sustainable technological development for marine economy. On Friday September 28th, as part of the Nautical Fair in Rijeka (Croatia) organised and promoted by the Rijeka Economy Chamber, two events will be held for the marine companies in the context of the BEAT (Blue enhancement action for technology transfer) – an approved project by Interreg V Italy-Croatia 2014-2020 Standard Plus and coordinated by Unioncamere del Veneto. The University of Trieste and Unioncamere del Veneto, with the collaboration of the University of Padua Department of Economics and Business Sciences “M. Fanno”, together with the local one of Rijeka, will explore scenarios of sustainable technological development for marine economy (blue economy) and opportunities for innovation and international collaboration. The objective of the project is indeed to foster innovation, networking, and the exchange of good practices between Italian and Croatian companies to ensure new growth opportunities at the level of supply chain and territory.
