Padua – How do we defend ourselves from hacker attacks on the net? How can we protect the thousands of data that we place on the internet? Jaya Baloo, one of the world’s top 100 cybersecurity experts on an episode of Striscia la Notizia aired a few days ago indicates Professor Paolo Villoresi as an “Italian hero” in the security sector, and urges greater attention and funding to these researchers. “The University of Padua, mentioned in the interview, is in fact very active in frontier research in Quantum Communication and Information at the base of new applications of Cybersecurity, explains Paolo Villoresi. Our QuantumFuture Research Group, coordinated by me, has developed the first demonstrations of quantum communications in Space, at the ASI Observatory of Matera, and has recently patented the most rapid generator of safe random numbers for the University “.
