Washington – The president of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, will travel to the United States for an official visit February 26th until the 28th. Tajani will be in Washington on February 26th and 27th, where he will meet, among others, the Speaker of the American Congress, Nancy Pelosi, the Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross and the Secretary General of the Organisation of American States, Luis Almagro, as well as authoritative representatives of Congress. Tajani will also visit the Arlington National Cemetery, where he will lay a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. On February 28th, President Tajani will be in New York to meet with UN Secretary-General, António Guterres. Tajani will also visit Memorial 9/11 to remember the victims of the attacks on the Twin Towers. The President will also be a guest of honour at the World Leaders Forum of Columbia University and will have a meeting with representatives of Italian companies in the United States. (9Colonne)
