Melbourne – The Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne, in collaboration with Palace Cinemas and Istituto Luce Cinecittà, presents the second edition of the Italian Cine-scapes series, with a new, accurate selection of films about the inner and outer landscape of Italy of yesterday and today. Films will be screened the first Sunday of each month (except for November) starting April 7th with the inauguration featuring “The widower / Il vedovo”, by Dino Risi, until December 2019. The programme continues on May 5th with “Sicilian Ghost Story” by Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza; on June 2nd with “Black Souls / Anime nera” by Francesco Munzi; on July 7th “The Sunday Woman / La donna della Domenica” by Luigi Comencini; on August 4th “Honey / Honey “, by Valeria Golino; and on September 1st Vittorio De Sica’s historic” Miracle in Milan / Miracle in Milan “. On October 6 the “Indivisible”, by Edoardo De Angelis; November 10 “Fiore”, by Claudio Giovannesi; and on December 1st, “The Seduction of Mimi / Mimì metallurgico wounded in honor”, by Lina Wertmüller.
