Bangkok – ICE-Agency for the Promotion and Internationalisation of Italian companies, has organised an Italian collective to the PRINTECH ASIA 2019 fair (Bangkok, 12-15 June 2019) in collaboration with the ACIMGA trade association, in favour of the machinery sector for the graphics, printing, and converting industry. Thailand is a dynamic market that is confirming its central role in South East Asia, both in terms of importation and its geographical position that allows it to take advantage of the economic growth of neighboring states (Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines). Exports of Italian technology for graphics and paper converting in East Asian countries recorded a growth close to double figures in 2017 (+ 9.7%) and amounted to 170 million euros, for an incidence on total exportation of ten points. Printech Asia is an excellent showcase to increase the visibility of Italian technology. Placing itself within the Propak Asia, the Printech fair dedicates a special space to the technologies for printing, converting, and labeling, enhancing this sector and the high added value represented by the Made in Italy.
