(Mar. 29) – Great Success in London for the region of Veneto Region, as part of the promotion of Venetian culture abroad, with an initiative dedicated to the Veneto Film Commission at the Italian Cultural Institute in the UK capital. It was an opportunity to present to British and American production companies the Italian film commissions system, as a tool for promoting regional areas both in terms of culture and economic reductions, as stated by the Regional Fund for cinema and audiovisual media. More than 70 professionals from the cinema sector and film producers have accepted the invitation. Among these, Andreas Roald producer of “Effie”, by Emma Thompson, shooted in Veneto. A specific study was dedicated to the newly formed Treviso film commissions, to focus attention on the locations of the province of Treviso and new opportunities for the movie studios. (Ram/Peg)
