(May 9) – The magic of fireworks can make a special night and create an unforgettable show. So happened in Da Nang, city on the west bank of the Han River, in central Vietnam. In the Asian country, Parente Fireworks, Italian company from Melara (Rovigo) and world leader in technology applied to fireworks and pyrotechnics, has been awarded the first prize and the title of “Champion of champions” at the “Da Nang International Fireworks Competition”, one of the most prestigious international fireworks competitions. The event, organized by the Malaysian Global Production, aimed to promote tourism and cultural traditions of the city and drew the attention of 800,000 people, which have followed the show on terraces near the river. The event was broadcasted on national television and was participated by teams winning the last four editions of the competition (Italy, France, China and Canada), plus a local team representing Vietnam. Parente Fireworks surprised everyone with flamethrowers, lasers and lights, projected images and fountains of water, giving birth to a twenty minutes show called “The Rainbow of Da Nang”. It was a celebration of the primary rainbow colors and of the symbols of Afghanistan and the city of Da Nang, whose name means “spring of the river”. (Gil/Red)
