(May 22) – Fintel Energy Group is an Italy-based company active mainly in the distribution and sale of electricity and natural gas. The Company, through its Serbian controlled company MK Fintel Wind, has obtained from the regional government of Vojvodina an Energy Permit approval for a 9 MW wind farm in Serbia, as part of a 138MW wind farm named “RAM”. The RAM project (a wind farm in eastern Serbia near the hydroelectric power plant Djerdap) was acquired by Fintel from the Swedish group Cleps in 2010. About this plant, in September 2011 the EMS – Elektromreža Srbije, the company responsible for the national transmission system in Serbia, has already granted a positive feedback. After obtaining the Energy Permit – which is the first step in the authorization process for building a power plant in Serbia -, the new power plant in Serbia will wait for two more permissions: one concerning the location of the plant (Location Permit) and the building authorization (Construction Permit).
