(May 23) – Lapo Elkann triumphed last night in London at the 2012 edition of the Innovation & Design Awards with his design creations “Fiat 500 by Gucci” and “Ferrari Tailor Made”. The manager of brand promotion at FIAT was the only Italian in the competition and has won with a special edition of the iconic FIAT 500, created together with Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, and in collaboration with Centro Stile FIAT. Lapo Elkann also took the top step of the podium with “Ferrari Tailor-Made”, a special model of Ferrari with details chosen by the customers: the color, the interior trim or different types of leather. The sixth edition of the Innovation & Design Awards has been organized by Traveller magazine and has celebrated excellence in 11 categories and focusing on innovative ideas and designs to enhance the travel experience.
