(22 Jun) – After the European League Against Rheumatism, held in Berlin in recent days, Ignazio Olivieri, director of the Reumatology Department of the San Carlo Hospital of Potenza, goes to Stockholm. He will participate in the “World psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis conference”, to be held from June 27th to July 1st , in representation of his region, Lucania, and the whole Italy. The Reumatology Department of the San Carlo Hospital of Potenza is a re-known center for the rheumatoid arthritis treatment. Olivieri will attend the conference as a speaker, with an intervention entitled “Late onset psoriatic arthritis: is it different?”, speaking about the comparison between early and late psoriatic arthritis. He will also be the moderator of a session dedicated to the relationship between inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis. The data that will be disclosed by Olivieri, as he anticipated, “are the result of and extensive research and show how the late onset psoriatic arthritis is very similar to that of earlier age.” (Gil/Peg)
