(Jul. 18) – Furio Brighenti, full professor of Human Nutrition at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Parma, has been nominated Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Food Science & Nutrition, taking over from Jeya Henry from the Oxford Brookes University. Published by Information Healthcare, the magazine has a 40 years history and has been one of the first publication of the sector. The Journal releases every year eight issues for a total of 150 scientific original essays. The Editorial Board sees the participation of other Italians, such as Daniele Del Rio (Associate Editor), Elena Vittadini and Chiara Dall’Asta, all of them members of the Nutritional Science Department. “I’m proud of this assignment, which is also an honor for our University and especially for the new Department ,” said Brighentin commenting the news.
