(Jun. 29) – It ends today “Italy meets the Caucasus 2012”, an initiative organized by the Honorary Consulate General of Italy in Krasnodar, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Moscow and the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, for the benefit of over fifty Italian firms already active in Russia’s northern Caucasus or willing to develop future cooperation with the region. The event was attended by Ambassador Zanardi Landi, Pierpaolo Lodigiani, the Honorary Consul General of Italy in Krasnodar, Rosario Alessandrello, the President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, and Vittorio Torrembini, the President of GIM-Unimpresa. Through sectoral roundtables, visits to the factories and B2B meetings, the participants were able to deepen the potential of the economic cooperation in the area. During his participation, Ambassador Zanardi Landi had the chance to discuss with the Governor of the Stavropol Region, Valery Georgevich Zerenkov, and the President of Kabardino Balkharia, Arsen Kanokov Bashirovich, about future about future entrepreneurial partnerships.
