(Aug. 3) – Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s new leader and successor of the ‘Dear Leader’ Kim Jong-il, in a meeting with an official from the British Embassy in Pyongyang. It would be a news itself, given the difficult relations between the Korean regime and the Western world. But curiosity is that the meeting took did not take place in an institutional office, but on a rollercoaster in an amusement park just opened in the Korean capital. The theme park is the Rungna People’s Pleasure Ground and the rollercoaster was built by Italian group Zamperla. The news, along with the identity of the British officer, whose name is Barnaby Jones, has been confirmed directly by the British Foreign Office, the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (red)
