(Sept. 11) After the success in China, Hit Week – the biggest festival of Italian music abroad – comes back in the USA and, for its first time, in Canada. Protagonists of this edition, scheduled for 9-19 October, will be Subsonica and Negrita, two of the most representative Italian bands, and Alessandro Mannarino, on stage with Emma Re, Boom Da Bash and Mama Marjas (promoted by Puglia Sounds). The bands Follow the Mad and Una, winners of the contest, and Chef Omar, winner of the food & wine contest, will have the chance to participate too. These are the stages of Hit Week: on October 9 Subsonica, Negrita and Mannarino at the Highline Ballroom, New York; on October 11, Subsonica and Negrita at The Howard Theatre di Washington; on October 12 Puglia Sound System, Boom Da Bash and Mama Marjas at the PAX, Miami; on October 13 Hit Week L.A. Preview at Taste of Italy Mama Marjas at the Downtown, Los Angeles; on October 13 Subsonica, Negrita and Mannarino at the Young Circle di Hollywood; on October 13, Emma Re at the Niaf Gala in Washington; on October 14, Hit Week Miami Dj Set on Lincoln Road at the Segafredo di Miami Beach; on October 16, Subsonica and Negrita at the Da Vinci Theatre in Montreal; on October 18, Hit Week L.A. Opening featuring performances from Emma Re and Omar di Santo at the Italian Culture Institute in Los Angeles; on October 19, Subsonica and Negrita at the El Rey in Los Angeles. (red)
