Oct. 10 – The Oltenia (Romania) trip, second stop of the Paths of Parks project, after the summer Val di Sole, has come to an end. The participants, youths from Trentino, Calabria and Romania, attended a further integration and understanding session, to build bridges and begin real relationships of friendship. The Italian teenagers claim, “after this week, it’s impossible for us to define ourselves through our nationalities, we are not from Trentino, Calabria, or Romania, we are Lidia, Roxana, Pietro, Oana, Gabriel, Riccardo, Adelina, Domenico, Andrei, Luca, Giuseppe, Constantin, Francesco, Silvia, Pietro, Francesca, Luca, Gianna, Elisa, Nicolò, and Diana. We all have our past and our stories, we carry our culture with us, but we are similar.” The Paths of Parks project, a one week event, aims at creating an intercultural and interreligious debate between different youths in a sustainable mountain tourism scenery. The project is carried out by IPRASE and promoted by the Youth Policy Office of the Trentino Autonomous Province, with the support of the Italian Youth Policy Department.
