Oct. 17 – The 2012 edition of Obuv’ Mir Kozi, the most important Russian event for show wear, organized by ANCI and FairSystem – part of BolognaFiere – opened last night. The Festival represents a unique opportunity to enter a market full of potential, especially after Russia’s admittance to the WTO, for the 212 Italian firms present. The event runs until Friday, and it is a fundamental rendezvous to consolidate business partnerships and network within a vast and varied contact base, all interested in Italian products. Last year, 8.000 operators from the sector were present – fact that shows how important the event has become to connect Italian shoe producers to their Russian and neighboring countries’ counterparts. Events and conferences on the side are also on the program, including an Italian restaurant area, special invitations, and an on-going campaign to promote made in Italy products.
