Nov. 6 – The Italian Pavilion at FIHAV 2012 will be inaugurated today in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to Cuba, Carmine Robustelli. FIHAV is the International Fair of Havana, for which ICE, the Agency for the promotion abroad and the ‘internationalization of Italian companies, has organized a group of 75 companies. The pavilion, which will remain open until November 10, will present a seminar organized by the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and by the ICE. The Italian companies will provide participants with information on how to do business and invest in Cuba. FIHAV, an annual fair, is traditionally known as a trade fair; however, in recent years it has shown an increasing trend towards sector specialization in construction, furniture, mechanical engineering, technologies for different sectors, commodities and related services. Consumption goods are also present via beverages and food, clothing and household items.
