Nov. 6 – The Italian region of Le Marche enhances its presence in the Chinese provinces. In the wake of partnerships with the city of Shanghai (1990s) and the more recent ones in Jiangsu (Nanjing – 2009), Hunan (Changsha – 2011) and Liaoling (Dalien – 2012), Le Marche are completing the circle by strengthening their ties with the Shandong province. The latter is a dynamic area, with over 96 million inhabitants, and an annual GDP growth of 9.5%, as well as a per capita annual income increase of 10%. The mission began last Sunday in Beijing, where VinChina, the international exhibition dedicated to wine, led the way. Italy’s institutional spot, created by the Marche Region and Umbria, was inaugurated by President Spacca and the Italian Ambassador to the Republic of China, Attilio Massimo Iannucci. The Marche Region will also have a permanent business technical assistance point at the Chamber of Commerce of Jinan. The service provided will focus on accompanying small and medium-sized enterprises from the Marche region in their growth processes and development in these areas.
