Nov. 14 – Ceramics of Italy will begin today at the Italian pavilion of the Greenbuild – Moscone Center in San Francisco, and it will propose a special exhibition set up by ICE and the Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea. The aim is to focus on initiatives and eco-friendly products of Italian origin. The stand will offer visitors the possibility to receive more detailed information on a whole range of new ceramic solutions oriented towards eco-sustainability. “Greenbuild – said Franco Manfredini, president of Confindustria Ceramica – is an excellent opportunity for our industry to get in touch with the leaders of the North American ecological community. We were founding members of the Green Building Council and today we understand the importance of full cooperation to advance successfully. For a long time we are committed to responsible production methods and we continue to innovate every year our products and solutions.” Ceramics of Italy will also be featured tomorrow in a presentation on the prospects for the Italian and European ecological certification SCS Global Services at booth no. 4269N.
