Nov. 15 – 27 children from the province of Reggio Emilia participated in a mini training course on Europe and its institutions. This is the first appointment of a journey that will end on November 29 and 30 with a trip to Brussels and a visit to the European Parliament, the Commission and the possibility to participate in the plenary session of the Regional Committee, of which the Provincial President Sonia Masini is a member. “In recent years – said the president – we have accompanied many students to Brussels, to enable them to see and ‘feel’ Europe more closely. It’s a very nice experience, and it constitutes important training for all children. The Reggio Emilia experience is very special, and it is not just because of my presence on the Regional Committee, but because this good practice should be spread, to give more opportunities to our young people.” The young people involved in the project are students who represent all the schools in the province.
