Nov. 15 – China is currently hosting a Prosciutto di Parma delegation. Indeed, Shanghai is displaying the excellence behind made in Italy thanks to Food & Hospitality China, the annual exhibition dedicated to food and agricultural products and hotel services and facilities. The fair is considered one of the most important events in the industry. The Prosciutto di Parma consortium is present through the EU initiative “Tastes of Europe” that aims to promote and disseminate European quality food. “This is a very interesting opportunity – says Paolo Tanara, president of the Consortium – because it allows us to experience and understand first hand a country that is culturally very far away from us, and at the same time we are reevaluating some aspects of our business through product tasting to the public and information seminars. We are definitely still in the process of study and monitoring this market; therefore, we will take advantage of this important international trade fair to gather more information about the country that hosts us and to get in touch with the local operators”.
