Jan. 7 – There is great anticipation for “The Green Dot EP”, Daniele Cardinale’s debut EP, in art Viva Lion! For years active in the Roman rock scene, the artist is now between Toronto and Los Angeles. The EP, out January 25th, is published by Cosecomuni, the same record label as “Velvet.” The album is mixed by Alessandro Sgreccia and mastered by Chris Fogal at the Black in Bluhm of Denver, CO. All songs in English include a special feature: Velvet, Roads Collide, Gipsy Rufina, Megan Pfefferkorn and other musicians. Originally born as an acoustic EP turned out to be a real collective, similar to the Canadian group Broken Social Scene. To the project, the graphic designer Federico Antonini also participated, alongside the video makers for Il Polimorfo. Meanwhile, on Le Cool’s website, there is a teaser for this highly anticipated recording project in which, among others, Pierluigi Ferrantini from Velvet explains why he decided to support and produce “The Green Dot EP”.
