Jan. 25 – The readers of the prestigious German magazine “Auto Motor Sport” have crowned Ferrari 458 Spider as the “Best Imported Cabriolet” in their annual “Best Cars” survey. It is the second time that the 458 Spider has won this award and the 15th time Ferrari receives it, demonstrating the success enjoyed by the brand in Germany. The award was presented by the Director of Amus, Ralph Alex, to Ferrari’s CEO, Amedeo Felisa, during the ceremony held in Stuttgart. The 458 is the new Ferrari V8 rear-center, of which the Spider version is distinguished by a retractable hard top that combines performance and style in a unique way. The engine, 8 cylinders in V 4499 cm3 and 570 bhp, has had a lot of success: it earnied the International Engine of the Year award for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012. To date, 458 coupé and spider combined have won 50 awards and are widely regarded as two of the most successful models in the history of Ferrari.
