Feb. 26 – At the 83rd International Motor Show in Geneva (March 7 to 17) Fiat will present three new models: Trekking 500L, 500 and GQ Panda 4×4. In addition, the stand will expose some well known models that represent the wide and varied range of Fiat 500S, Punto 2013 with ‘Sporting’ Pack, Freemont Lounge AWD and Sedici with the Nitro Kit. The new 500 will also get its occasion to shine, as the zero emissions electric version will be marketed exclusively in the U.S. from the second quarter of 2013. Other than Fiat, Alfa Romeo returns to the Geneva Motor Show with the sleek and streamlined style to present the Alfa Romeo 4C, a compact supercar that is the essence of sportsmanship embodying the true values of the brand: Italian style, performance, and technical excellence aimed at maximum driving pleasure in total safety. Alongside the Alfa Romeo 4C there will be two MiTo models: a Limited Edition Superbike 170 hp and a 135 hp 4.1 Special Series Superbike TCT customized with the original KIT SBK. Both versions are inspired by the MiTo Official Safety Car “FIM SBK Superbike World Championship”, reflecting a winning partnership between the brand and the Championship since 2007 and that best expresses the style and the experience of Italian motoring in the world. The spotlight is also on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and its newest version “Fast,” symbolizing the fact that Alfa Romeo has come a long way since its foundation in 1956 just the Giulietta model. Lancia will also participate in the Geneva event with a stand full of charm and elegance that highlights the company’s exuberant style, its expertise and search for the “stress-free experience” and Chrysler’s functionality combined with Lancia’s taste, innovation and love for craftsmanship. This “dual personality” is the concept around which develops the exhibition area, creating sinuous forms and expressive languages: a picturesque setting that allows the audience to discover one of the widest offers available – Ypsilon, Delta, Thema, the Large MPV Voyager, and the amazing convertible Flavia.
