Mar. 4 – Irish dinner table increase their demand for Italian products. The interest spiked in recent days thanks to the Irish operators present at the B2B (business to business) meetings with Italian food companies, organized by FIBI, the Italian Federation of Business in Ireland, who promotes Made in Italy in Ireland. Many Italian entrepreneurs were present at the direct meetings held in Dublin at the Italian School of Cooking, to know personally the buyers and collect precious information about the needs of the Irish market, while establishing a business relationship with foreign counterparts. Italian companies were thus able to present in person their firms’ history, the family traditions and specific characteristics of their products. Particular attention to the Italian food was also demonstrated by the catering sector in Ireland. In addition to restaurants, there were distributors, specialized importers of wine and spirits, restaurateurs, off-license shop owners, head chefs, take away holders, and supermarket chains.
