Mar. 6 – The 3rd edition of London’s Italian Film Festival – Cinema Made in Italy, begins today. It is a special event organized by the Cinecittà Luce Institute and the Italian Cultural Institute in London that brings to the UK, after two successful seasons, some of the best recent Italian productions. 10 films will be shown in five days of screenings, until March 10; eight of which selected by the scholar and critic Gianni Canova, and two titles chosen by Adrian Wootton, CEO of Film London. Many of the authors will be guests of the Festival, which represents a valuable opportunity to present the film to the public, press and UK distributors, who are showing a renewed interest in Italian cinema. It is on purpose, in fact, that the Festival takes place at the same time as the national release of Cesare Deve Morire by the Taviani brothers and, in late March, of Reality by Matteo Garrone.
