Mar. 7 – A new Vinitaly appointment will bring Puglia’s wine and winery excellence to ProWein, in Germany. Düsseldorf will host the 2013 edition of the international exhibition of wines and spirits that between March 24 – 26, and over 4500 exhibitors (500 more than last year) are expected, from more than 50 countries. On this important stage, Puglia will be represented by almost 50 companies, divided between two areas: Hall 3, chaired by the Puglia Region and Unioncamere Puglia, and Hall 6 “Wine’s best friends”, in the “Vinum” area, hosted by Movimento Turismo del Vino Puglia. Among the more than 300 events under the ProWein, Puglia will contribute with tastings and meetings with stakeholders in the supply chain, buyers and journalists (for an overall visitor flow of 40.000). The aim is to increase Puglia’s visibility in the Central and Northern European markets, thanks to its “ambassadors:” Nero di Troia, Primitivo and Negroamaro.
