(Mar. 25th) – Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE), in together with the Associazione Editori Sviluppatori Videogiochi Italiani (AESVI), participates this year for the very first time at the ‘Game Connection America ‘, organizing the presence of 10 companies from the video game industry. Scheduled between today and March 27th at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco, the event is one of the main international appointment for the gaming industry, with editions in Europe and Asia. The games industry joins the sectors already supported by the ICE in the segment of film and audiovisual industry. Video games are one of the areas of cultural and entertainment that has experienced the greatest growth in recent years. At world level, its value now stands between 57 and 65 billion euros, with an average annual growth of 11, 4% between 2006 and 2011, and it is estimated to record a growth also in the period 2012-2015, with an annual rate of 6.4%.
