Apr. 2 – Puglia’s excellence is ready to fly to Canada for the 6th edition of “Flavors of Puglia,” organized by the Federation of Pugliese Social Clubs of British Columbia under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, the Apulia Region (Puglia to the Department in the world), Puglia Sounds, CNIPA Puglia and Sapor Cooperative Society di Bari (Bari Vino’Mirr). The website “Pugliesi in the World” states that the event will touch, between April 4-12, different cities of West and Central Canada – from Vancouver to New Westminster via Kelowna, Edmonton and Winnipeg – bringing music and the overwhelming sounds of the band “Garganica Tarantula,” to these cities. A wide range of tasting of typical products from Puglia, the presence of a cheese maker and the photo exhibition” Colors of Bari “by young artists Grazia Frappampina and Junio Sportelli will surely make the even a success. The event is an important meeting place for the entire Italian community of Canada, ready to experience moments of true and genuine Italian style.
