June 14 – After the 2012 sold out concerts in New York (Apollo Theater), Boston (Berklee Performance Center) and Washington (DC Jazz Festival), Pino Daniele returns abroad, with a tour in Europe and North America (produced and organized by Blue Drag and Massimo Gallotta). The perfect occasion is the 2013 ‘”Year of Italian Culture in the United States” organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Embassy in Washington DC and the General Consulates and the Italian Cultural Institutes of New York and San Francisco. The tour opened on June 7 in London (at the Barbican Theatre); on June 18 and 19, the Neapolitan artist will perform at Stage48 in New York, where he will play in a smaller environment, in context with the show “An Intimate Evening with …” already proposed to great artists like Santana and BB King. Finally, on June 21 Pino Daniele will be at the San Francisco Jazz Festival; on June 24 at the Toronto Jazz Festival; and, in autumn, the tour will continue with gigs in Germany, Switzerland, France and Eastern Europe.
