June 27 – One of the two young men who will represent Italy at the Olympics of the European Computational Mechanics is a PhD graduate from the University of Florence. Marco Bacci was selected by the Italian Group of Computational Mechanics to participate in the next ECCOMAS (European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences) PhD Olympiads, which will be held September 2 – 6 in Bordeaux.
