July 16 – A new protocol of cooperation on scientific and clinical cochlear implants was signed between the New York University Langone, the Foundation Rienzi and the San Carlo Hospital of Potenza. The hospital has long been at the forefront on the use of cochlear implants and is a reference point for southern Italy. Now it opened to dialogue and international cooperation with two leading U.S. institutions. During the initialization of the Protocol, held in the Auditorium of St. Charles, a study conference entitled “Implantology of deafness: comparing experiences” took place.
