July 23 – “When you become conscious that time is limited, you try to fill that empty space with all your energy and to live every moment of your life fully, like when you were a child,” says Ludovico Einaudi, who resumed his “In a Time Lapse Tour” from Venice on July 18. The world tour began in February, with 55 concerts in 90 days, with 14 gigs taking place in the UK’s largest cities. And London has already announced 5 sold out gigs at the Barbican planned from July 31 to August 4. In his tours around Europe’s most important stages, the pianist and composer from Turin has seen his shows go sold-out almost everywhere: from the Olympia in Paris to the Philharmonie in Monaco. In May, the artist performed in the U.S., Canada and China in some of the most prestigious theaters in the world: Montreal, Toronto, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and arriving in Beijing for four highly anticipated concerts.
