Sept. 5 – Tuscany, land of gastronomy, art, culture, nature, but also of investments coming from foreign markets. China has recently been exploring investment opportunities in the region thanks to Design Week Shanghai, ongoing until September 11. Tuscany is in fact presenting its best investment opportunities, addressing those who want to set up joint ventures or maybe open poles in the region. The operation’s solid base is the success of Tongji University, which will soon lead to the establishment of a Sino-Italian design center in Florence at Villa Strozzi, and the Italian-Chinese textile research center in Prato. “After the United States – said the councilor for productive activities of Tuscany, Gianfranco Simoncini – China is the second country in the world that invests the most on research. In Shanghai, Tuscany aims to attract new foreign universities on its territory and, above all, create new business opportunities. Through its collaboration with China, Tuscany can definitely grow into the 21st century.”
