Dec. 17 – Novara companies look farther and farther away. Five companies traveled yesterday to Indonesia and Malaysia on a trade mission that will last until Dec. 20. The initiative was sponsored by the Special Agency of the Novara Chamber of Commerce; and covers business meetings in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. Furthermore, Gianfredo Comazzi, Chamber President, met with the Italian ambassador to the UAE, Giorgio Starace. The mission to Indonesia and Malaysia follows another successful mission in Chile, which took place in mid-November in Santiago, and also visited Bogota, Colombia, for a total of 90 B2B meetings with the 5 participating companies from Novara. “In addition to consolidating the positive results of these initiatives, we focused heavily on the exploration of new markets – says Comazzi – Alongside the business, we are constantly looking for spaces and opportunities to create favorable business relationships and strengthen our ability to compete abroad, which has become a matter of survival. We face a challenging 2014, but we are ready thanks to a varied program of activities, which will be presented shortly, to help enterprises successfully sail the seas of internationalization.”
