Jan. 10 – As daylight saving time kicks in for 2014, Alitalia will debut two new direct international connections from Milan Linate to Warsaw and Prague. Last October, Alitalia strengthened its flight connections to Vienna, kicking off its new international offer. The aim is to meet the needs of northern Italians and Milan residents who travel for business reasons. Alitalia will fly the Milano Linate – Warsaw segment 4 times a week starting on March 30 [12:35 – 14:40 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday; 11:30-13:35 on Sundays]. The Warsaw-Milan segment will take off at 15:30 and land at 17:40 during the week, and at 14:25-16:35 on Sundays. The summer season (March 30-October 25) will see Alitalia fly from Milan to Prague three times a week – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – at 12:05 and land at 13:35 during the week and at 16:00-17.30 on Saturday. Flights will return to Milan at 14:30 (landing time 16:00) on weekdays and at 18: (landing time 20:20) on Saturdays. Alitalia will use the new Airbus A320 or A319 for both connections. The airplains offer two classes: the Ottima (business class) and the Classica (economy).
