Mar. 10 – “Ciù Ciù” wines find their success in “furrows,” “roots” and “dreams.” Offida Rosso Doc Esperanto wines are produced by the Ciù Ciù winery in Offida, in the Ascoli-Piceno area, and have just been awarded a new prize at the wine competition “Mundus Vini 2014,” organized in Germany for all wines. “It is – reads a note from the company – a prestigious recognition for our company, which in 2013 had already won several global awards. But we are particularly proud of this second place for our Esperanto red.” The Offida Rosso Doc Esperanto wine will be presented to the public, along with the other winners, in an area exclusively reserved for the tasting of “Mundus Vini” during the ProWein fair, to be held March 23-25 in Düsseldorf. “Esperanto is a language that can bring peoples, nations and cultures together – says the company describing its Offida Rosso Doc – This wine is capable of combining its rich, deep and territorial roots with elegant and fine international influences. Our Montepulciano and Cabernet are meticulously cultured in pure oak barrels; they are then combined and after 30 months of aging, of which 6 inside the bottle, they reach our customers’ tables.”
