Mar. 11 – For the second consecutive year, Puglia is participating in ITB Berlin , the German trade fair dedicated to tourism. This year, the region is a runner up, in third place, to the Best Exhibitor Award in the Europe category, organized by the Cologne Business School. After Austria and Poland, Puglia’s stand was the best according to the selection criteria: innovation, sustainability, design, creativity, accessibility, staff motivation, the quality of the organization and the budget. At the ITB, which welcomed operators and visitors from all over the world, Puglia’s stand was at the center of attention and received a significant influx of visitors. In addition to the business meetings of individual operators, the stand also hosted a number of meetings between Pugliapromozione and some major tour operators and agencies, such as Dertour, which will lead to reinforced collaborations and new charter flights.
