Prague – The President of the Senate, Pietro Grasso, will meet today at 3:30pm the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, at Prague Castle. Then, at 4.15, he will meet with the President of the Senate, Milan Stech. These are – as stated in a footnote – the two central events of Grasso’s visit. Before meeting with the President of the Republic, Pietro Grasso will speak at the Second Session plenary of the “World Forum on Governance,” organized by the Brookings Institute, on corruption. The Forum takes place at the Augustine Hotel, and will start at 1.30pm. At the end of his speech, President Grasso will answer questions from moderator Norm Ornstein and the public. Tomorrow, at 10 am, he will be back to Prague Castle to attend the Inaugural Session of the Conference celebrating the 10th anniversary of accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union. At noon, the Senate president will attend the Closing Session of the “World Forum on Governance” on corruption. The day will end at 7.15pm, at the Italian Embassy in Prague, where President Grasso will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition on Titian. (9Colonne)
