Sidney – “Written in Italy” is an international traveling exhibition of Italian literature translated abroad. It will be in Sydney May 1-5 at the Macquarie Room, State Library of Nsw. The initiative is promoted by the Italian Institute of Culture and the State Library of Nsw. The exhibition was presented for the first time in Foggia in January 2009, thanks to the passion of a sui generis collector, journalist Davide Grittani, who cultivated a passion for collecting works by the most celebrated Italian writers whose works were translated abroad.
