Tehran – Italy’s espresso tradition has never been more international. The Iranian FBC barista championship, organized by Fidilio in collaboration with the company Caffè River of Arezzo, will be held April 30 and May 1 in Tehran. Participants will have to make coffee in front of a jury of experts, which will include Mara Bruni and Francesco Guadagni, as well as the Italian vice champion of Latte Art 2013 and 2014 editions, Giuseppe Musiu. Together, they will also hold in Tehran a two-day training courses on the art of making and decorating espresso and cappuccino. This year’s FBC champion will fly to Italy to visit Caffè River and attend the CAffè River Training Centre in Arezzo. Iran’s interest towards Italian espresso products has grown considerably in recent years, bringing about the opening of many new cafés in the capital. (9Colonne)
