Salamanca – Team Nankang Fondriest Franco Gomme moved to Spain to ride the Vuelta Castilla y Leon, the short stage race scheduled from Friday, the 16th to Sunday the 18th of May, in the Northeast of the Iberian Peninsula. Three stages in the program on Spanish roads, which will offer three scenarios very different from each other, as illustrated by the sports director, Simone Borgheresi: “This is a lovely race, and very challenging. The first stage should be adapted to sprinters but the uphill finish of the second day will be the best deal for climbers. Sunday, there will be the opportunity to attack to invent an ending that is not at all obvious” said Borgheresi who added: “We have chosen a complete team and I’m sure that our riders will be able to be competitive on any terrain.” (9colonne)
